Winsper Takes Stake in I-Shop Radium

May 18, 2009

- Adweek Staff

BOSTON Independent agency Winsper today said it has taken a minority stake in i-shop Raduim, a company that specializes in search marketing and social media.

Radium is headquartered in New York with a satellite office at Winsper's office Boston; its founder, Rich Angstadt, is a former Winsper staffer.

The firms have teamed up before, with Radium supporting Winsper clients such as Quench, Black Cat Lodge and Richardson. On its own, Radium works for accounts like Nuance, Maui Jim Sunglasses and Hylighter, among others.

Winsper and Radium recently conducted a Web audit for the Luxury Marketing Council.

Said Angstadt: "Working with Winsper, we are able to deliver a complete, end-to-end solution, focused on overarching brand strategy rather than on individual service offerings. The result is a customer centric approach that delivers a better value and higher return for our clients."

Agency chief Jeff Winsper (shown above) said the deal provides an opportunity to establish a "complimentary and integrated offering" within Winsper's customer-driven business performance platform.
