Plants vs. Zombies 2 Receives Update as Franchise Turns 6
Gamers can celebrate the franchise's birthday with a 10-day event, including lots of free prizes.
On this Cinco de Mayo, EA Mobile is celebrating more than most, as PopCap’s Plants vs. Zombies is turning six years old, and the developer looks to reward users for their long-term loyalty to the brand. Specifically, Plants vs. Zombies 2 will feature a “10 Day Birthdayz” event, with new collectibles and guaranteed gems up for grabs.
From May 5 to May 14, 2015, players can work to unlock guaranteed gems with every win, and five limited time collectible costumes for their plants: party hats for Cabbage-pult and Lightning Reed, bow ties for Bonk Choy, Kernel-pult’s blowout and cupcakes on Snapdragon’s head.
