Obsessing Over Smartphones

CNN is running a series this week about smartphones and their impact on our lives and culture. Todays first part of the five part series emphasizes the impact smartphone have on people’s lives. One Arkansas couple claims that misplacing their iPod Touch lead to getting pregnant because they were unable to reference an app that explains the rhythm method. A real estate agent is another example of how his smartphone enables him to stay connected to sell more homes, and says he could not function without the smartphone.
