Mobcast Selling eBooks On Android Phones In Europe
Digital content provider Mobcast is now selling eBooks on Android based phones in Europe by enabling mobile carriers to sell books to Android and smart phone customers.
T-Mobile UK & Orange UK are the first mobile operators to sign up to sell books this way. Through the operator-branded stores users can buy eBooks, which are billed directly to their mobile phone bills.
Mobcast CEO Tony Lynch had this statement: “After developing this platform for two years we know from our own customer data that they love reading books on their mobile phone and a large percentage go on to purchase multiple books per month.
