Kobo Updates Reading App To Include Newspapers

eReader company Kobo has updated its reading app to include a new newspaper and magazine reading service, as well as a dictionary.

This comes after yesterday’s news that B&N’s new Nook Color will feature a newspaper reading section with more than 100 newspapers and magazines partners providing regular content for it.

With the update, Kobo users can purchase digital versions of print newspapers as soon as they hit newsstands. Kobo’s blog explains more: “Kobo’s newspapers and magazines are formatted to bring the publications same unique qualities to the digital reading experience.
