Facebook Acquires FriendFeed
As first reported by TechCrunch, social-networking giant Facebook acquired online-sharing service FriendFeed. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Facebook said in a release that all FriendFeed employees will join Facebook and FriendFeed’s four founders will hold senior roles on Facebook’s engineering and product teams.
FriendFeed co-founder Bret Taylor wrote on the company blog that the site and its application-program interface would continue to operate normally, adding:
