Young Americans Trust Local TV News the Most, According to Harvard Poll

The respondents, ages 18-29, still find information on Facebook but largely distrust the company

Harvard just released a survey on young Americans and their politics. And besides affirming what we already know—they are not too fond of Donald Trump, are generally more left-leaning and believe that Joe Biden won the election fairly—the data has some interesting implications for the media and tech industries.

Top line

While the study found that 18-29-year-olds are wary of all news sources, they’re still giving local TV stations a chance. About one-third (33%) turn to local TV news, while 30% use Facebook and 27% tune into CNN.
