Spotify introduced several updates to the Promo Cards feature it rolled out last fall.
Promo Cards are customizable graphics that can be shared with fans to promote an artist, song, album or when the artist has been featured on some of the audio streaming platform’s most popular playlists, and thousands of them have been created since their debut.
Saying that artists have mentioned wanting to celebrate milestones and successes with fans, Spotify introduced artist follower milestones, meaning that milestone cards can now be created when artists reach these follower totals: 1,000, 5,000, 10,000, 25,000, 50,000, 100,000, 500,000, 1 million, 2 million, 5 million, 10 million, 20 million, 25 million, 50 million and 100 million.
Promo Cards can also be created when an artist’s track hits the top 50 in Spotify’s Top Global Weekly Songs chart, and those cards include the track artwork and chart position.
