Pinterest revealed several new and upcoming features at its Pinterest Presents global advertiser summit Wednesday, which featured sessions in six countries: Australia, Canada, France, Germany, the U.K. and the U.S.
Co-founder and CEO Ben Silbermann said in the event opener that he speaks with a lot of chief marketing officers, and they went into marketing “not to bid on keywords or retarget people all over the internet,” but to inspire people.
“As an advertiser, there are lots of places where you can spend your energy,” he added.
