When Facebook revealed its name change to Meta at its Connect 2021 virtual gathering last October, the focus was on the metaverse and future developments that are years away, in many cases. The focus for Meta’s upcoming Super Bowl 56 spot, which it shared a preview of Wednesday, is on the here and now—specifically, the Meta Quest 2 virtual reality headset.
The company will debut the full, 60-second “Old Friends, New Fun” spot on ABC’s Good Morning America Feb.
