Meta filed a lawsuit Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California against Chad Taylor Cowan, claiming that his company, CFS Solutions, provides fake engagement on Facebook.
Director of platform enforcement and litigation Jessica Romero said in a Newsroom post that CFS Solutions provides fake reviews and feedback aimed at helping businesses to game Facebook’s Customer Feedback Score.
Meta sends surveys to some people who click on ads on its platform, seeking information about their experiences with the business, including customer service, satisfaction with the product and timely shipping.
