The sport of skateboarding is making its Olympic debut at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo—which, contrary to their name, actually kick off July 23, 2021—and it is also the backbone of Facebook’s new cross-application global ad campaign, which will run during NBC’s coverage of the Games.

“We Change the Game When We Find Each Other” is aimed at demonstrating how Facebook’s family of applications and technologies help people around the world connect and bring the spirit of the Olympics and the Paralympic
