Zed Hammers Its Way onto the iPhone

Spain-based mobile entertainment company Zed, which claims to be the world’s largest in terms of revenue and geographical reach, has unveiled its first two games for the iPhone in the US.

Bubble Boom is a puzzle game that takes advantage of the iPhone’s accelerometer by requiring players to tilt the device to connect and pop bubbles as they work their way through 40 levels of gameplay. The full-featured version is $1.99, but there’s a freebie version with fewer levels.

Carnival Hammer, which does indeed simulate the strength-testing carnival game, also uses the accelerometer.
