WP Appoints New Foreign Chief
A note buried beneath the table of contents and next to an ad for hardwood flooring on A-2 today announced that Post Foreign Editor David Hoffman has been promoted to Assistant ME for Foreign News. Starting immediately, he’ll head up the Post’s two dozen correspondents, which as AJR points out in its current issue, includes one of the two full-time U.S. reporters still in Afghanistan.
Hoffman is quoted in the article as saying, “The world is changing so quickly,” and “foreign news is coming home.”
