White House Shutters Electronic Tip Box
The IT staff at the White House has been busy lately. First, its email sign-up procedures were altered. Now, POLITICO reports that its flag@whitehouse.gov electronic tip box was shut down.
The email address was set up Aug. 4 to collect information on “fishy” claims about President Barack Obama’s health-care plan, according to POLITICO, but emails now bounce back with the following message:
The e-mail address you just sent a message to is no longer in service. We are now accepting your feedback about health insurance reform via http://www.whitehouse.gov/realitycheck.
