Twitter is testing a Happening Now module atop users’ timelines that showcases popular events occurring at the time, such as sports events.
The module includes cards for specific events, which users can click on to see a timeline of tweets related to those events.
Twitter user Jae Hokes shared images of the Happening Now feature in a tweet (embedded below), and the social network confirmed the test to Kurt Wagner of Recode.
