The teen crooner got a perfect score according to a Forbes study, which catapulted him above Lady Gaga, Conan O’Brien and Kanye West. The Forbes blog commissioned the top 10 celebrities on Twitter list from Klout, the social media influence measurement service. Klout comes up with a score out of 100 to indicate someone’s level of Twitter influence, measuring such things as number of followers and number of retweets.
The top 10 Twitter celebrities of 2010 might hold some surprises for North American Twitter users – such as the second-place Paulo Coelho, a Brazilian novelist. But what’s not that surprising is the breakdown of what types of celebrities made the list: there are seven musicians, one novelist, one comedian and one spiritual leader.
