The Google Books Settlement Conference Today Settled Nothing
Google and several of the plaintiffs met with Judge Chin in the District Court for the Southern District of New York today. According to an eye witness, the session only lasted long enough for several parties to ask for more time. The Judge gave it to them, and scheduled the next conference on July 19.
Today’s conference was supposed to resolve the outcome of the Google Books Settlement, which Judge Chin had rejected back in March.
