New Social Network 'The Dots' Launches as 'LinkedIn for Creatives'
A new professional social platform is hoping to become the destination for job seekers in creative industries.
A new social network called “The Dots” launched today in the U.K. with over 13,000 brand partners, reports The Drum. The site is a “LinkedIn for creatives” and is helmed Pip Jamieson, who co-founded a similar site in Australia.
The site’s launch partners include Conde Nast, Saatchi & Saatchi, Spotify, Facebook and Vice. Jamieson, whose previous foray into social entrepreneurship was successful in Australia, wanted to expand the idea on a global scale. The platform hosts profiles and portfolios for professionals in creative industries like design, advertising and publishing.
While it is only available in the U.K.
