From Reuters to Young Hollywood: YouTube Begins Rolling Out New Channels

YouTube has officially begun rolling out the new channels, and is announcing a few pretty big ones this week. YouTube viewers can now look forward to regularly scheduled programming from Reuters and Young Hollywood, among others.

Last year YouTube announced that they would be rolling out a whole slew of new, TV-like channels over the coming year—the first step in what seems like a plan to dominate the TV and video entertainment industry.  The online video site has officially begun rolling out the new channels, and is announcing a few pretty big ones this week.  YouTube viewers can now look forward to regularly scheduled programming from Reuters and Young Hollywood, among others.

Yesterday YouTube added two entertainment channels to the site—Young Hollywood Network and PMC on ION Television’s Entertainment News Television.  Young Hollywood Founder and CEO RJ Williams launched a video explaining how the new Young Hollywood YouTube channel will work.  They’ll be launching a new show every day at 10AM PT/1PM ET.  Check out the video below to find out more:
