Report: Mobile TV to Grow 60%
FierceMobileContent reports that mobile TV subscribers around the world are expected to “increase at a compound annual growth rate of more than 60 percent during the period extending from 2007 to 2010,” according to a new forecast issued by industry research firm RNCOS.
Interestingly, the report said that Western Europe will be responsible for the majority of mobile TV revenue by 2010, followed by Asia-Pacific (which is currently in the lead) and then North America. RNCOS said in addition that mobile ad spending will increase by more than 42 percent by 2013.
