The National Journal loses editor in chief and president Tim Grieve. He’s headed to The McClatchy Company, where he’ll be head of news strategies. NJ’s decision to suspend the print magazine appears to have forced Grieve’s hand… The Los Angeles Times loses another executive on the business side. Nicco Mele, the paper’s senior vice president and deputy publisher, leaves just days after publisher Austin Beutner was fired… Condé Nast grabs Cathy Hoffman Glosser, who once worked for Donald Trump‘s company, to be senior vice president of licensing. “Our consumers continue to seek out new and exciting ways to experience the Condé Nast brands they are passionate about,” said Glosser’s new boss, chief administrative officer Jill Bright… U.S. News & World Report adds Chris DiCosmo and Kim Castro to the executive team, while also promoting DiCosmo, along with Karen Chevalier and Chad SmolinskiRaymond Braun becomes LGBTQ contributing editor at Seventeen.com…

Vice picks James Rosenstock to be executive vice president of international and corporate development. He had been in a similar position at Discovery Communications. The company also makes moves in the United Kingdom, tapping Rebecca Nicholson as editor in chief and Jenny Stevens as managing editor, while promoting Elektra Kotsoni to European editorial director… CNN hires another staffer for its digital politics site, recruiting National Journal assistant managing editor Dan Berman to be enterprise editor. He joins a growing group that includes Chris Moody, Manu Raju and Nia-Malika Henderson… Meanwhile, the 24-hour news network scores yet another talent, poaching Masuma Ahuja from The Washington Post. The former national digital editor will be part of CNN’s social team… Reddit, which continues to reel, installs Wynter Mitchell as head of talent and partnerships.
