Porter Novelli Launches Social Media Crisis Management Offering

Porter Novelli is digging in to crisis management with a new offering designed to help companies manage “crises and competitive threats in the era of social media.” The reputation management group will focus on planning for and responding to such events using online and offline tools.

That means looking at potential problem areas and developing content to avoid or handle crisis, tracking chatter via analytics and having specialists on hand to gauge consumer sentiment, as well as using social media to “minimize damage and build back reputation.”
