Lyft’s latest appeal taps into a universal pain point of drivers: You could have avoided that parking ticket by letting its drivers provide the ride.

For those rueful individuals who have gotten a ticket for leaving their vehicle in an illegal spot, sharing an image of the citation by tagging @Lyft and using the hashtag #ShouldveTakenALyft on Instagram, TikTok, Twitter and other social networks enters them in a contest for rewards that could offset the municipal fine.
