Google Play Gets Redesign, Adds Glass Compatibility

Google redesigned its app store Google Play with a new look and feel this week. The new layout is designed to “make it easier to browse and discover new favorites,” says Google’s welcome message to the new page.

The new design  brings recommendations to the front of the homepage, listing suggestions from four different categories including apps, books, music and films. On the left hand side of the screen, you can still see categories to browse through — apps, movies & TV, music, books, magazines and devices.
