New Updates to Facebook Profile Redesign
The new changes eliminate the Wall tab in favor of a unified Feed tab with three filters: All Posts, Wall Posts, and Posts by the profile owner.
The “Posts by the profile owner” filter currently includes status updates and notifications associated with Facebook’s own applications such as Photos and Pages. Third party application feed stories appear to reside solely on the “All posts” filter.
Through the Facebook Profiles Preview page, which now has over 118,000 fans, Facebook has actively sought user feedback regarding having a separate Wall tab versus a combined Feed with filtering options for wall posts/recent activity.
