Did you know that Facebook Messenger allows you to archive or delete your conversations when you’re done with them? Our guide will show you how this is done.

Note: These screenshots were captured in the Messenger application on iOS.

Step 1: Tap and hold on the conversation you wish to archive or delete until a menu appears at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2: Tap “Delete Conversation.”

Step 3: Tap either “Delete Conversation” or “Archive Conversation,” depending on the action you wish to take.

Note: If you want to Archive a conversation, you can also tap “More” instead of “Delete Conversation” in Step 2 above, and then tap “Archive” on the menu that appears.
