AT 58, RICHARD GERE DOESN’T NEED A BUTT DOUBLE
(New York–August 22, 2007)–Extra spoke to Richard Shepard, the director of Richard Gere’s film, The Hunting Party. Gere didn’t use a butt double, but Shepard says, “We had a butt double standing by.” About convincing Gere to drop his drawers, Shepard adds, “It didn’t take a lot!” As for shooting the scene, Shepard comments, “We did it at the airport…we had the runway shut down… as planes were circling, the butt came out.”
