Bruised and battered, the Grammys slink off to Sunday

The might of Fox’s “American Idol” is so unquestioned, even the Grammy’s don’t want to face the music anymore.

After this year’s Grammy’s lost out to “Idol” to the tune of 10 million fewer viewers (listners?) the news came today that the show would seek friendly turf next year.

It reminds us of a certain Woody Allen quote from “Annie Hall”:

My grammy never gave gifts. She was too busy getting raped by Cossacks “American Idol.”
