YouTube Shorts is YouTube’s version of TikTok or Instagram Reels. It allows users to watch short, vertical videos in a “Shorts” section of the YouTube mobile application.

When users upload a video to YouTube Shorts, they can add a description to tell viewers more about it. However, this description won’t be shown to viewers automatically. Our guide will show you how to view a video’s description when browsing YouTube Shorts.

Step 1: While viewing a YouTube Shorts video, tap the three dots on the right side of the screen.
