The annual Yale Publishing Course is coming up next month, and this year there’s something new: a full-on partnership with the Yale School of Management. As in past years, students will learn from long-time industry insiders; this year, however, half the curriculum is designed and presented by the professors of the Yale School of Management.

“We’re offering a combination of practical advice from successful publishers and research and management techniques from the School of Management,” Tina Weiner, YPC’s founding director, told me in a recent call.
