Twitter is marking Safer Internet Day Tuesday with a special hashtag-triggered emoji that will appear on tweets containing #SaferInternetDay and #SID2020, as well as initiatives in several countries.

Twitter Spain head of public policy, government and philanthropy Camino Rojo wrote in a blog post Tuesday, “Just as Safer Internet Day has grown from being a European event in 2004 to being celebrated globally 17 years later, Twitter has also grown and has continued to make the safety of those on the service a priority, with each year that passes.”
