TikTok allows users to tag other users in their videos on the video-sharing platform. However, people have the option to prevent others from being able to tag them in videos.

Our guide will show you how to change who can tag you in videos from within the TikTok mobile application.

Note: These screenshots were captured in the TikTok app on iOS. Also note, “tagging” on TikTok is different from “mentioning.” If someone wants to stop others from “mentioning” them on TikTok, they can follow our guide to do just that.

Step 1: On your TikTok profile, tap the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner of the screen.
