TikTok: How to Change Who Can Mention You

By default, TikTok users can mention other users in descriptions, stickers, comments and more. However, users have the option to prevent others from being able to mention them, if they’d like.

Our guide will show you how to change who can mention you in the TikTok application.

Step 1: On your TikTok profile, tap the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner of the screen.

Step 2: Tap “Privacy.”

Step 3: Under the “Safety” section, tap “Mentions.”
