Messenger From Facebook teamed up with Say It Now to help people create “Living Tributes” for teachers via Messenger Rooms in advance of National Teacher Appreciation Day May 4.

Say It Now was founded by Walter Green on the idea that while one-on-one expressions of gratitude are meaningful, group gratitude is even more meaningful.

Messenger product design director Lauren Cascio wrote in a blog post, “Since March 2020, as millions of students began remote and blended learning models, teachers rose to the occasion to show us all how impactful their work is for students and families.
