After sunsetting the local version of its platform in China in October, LinkedIn took the next step to remain in the market with the release of new application InCareer.

The app, available here and for Android and iOS devices, was designed to help professionals in mainland China find jobs, as well as to aid companies seeking talent in the country.

Members of the professional network can use advanced search to filter jobs by job title, location, company, industry or seniority level, and InCareer will surface new and relevant opportunities based on their saved searches, jobs they have viewed and other information on their profiles.

Recruiters worldwide can search, view profiles and message members about roles based in China, and members can use the app’s messaging features to stay in touch with their contacts, although there will be no social feed or means of sharing posts or articles.
