TikTok’s celebration of Black History Month has taken a musical turn.
Grammy Award-winning rhythm-and-blues artist Leon Bridges and electronic music artist Kaytranada dropped original tracks on the video creation platform, while new media brand SongPsych is taking people on deep dives into genres and new Make Black Music playlists were created by the TikTok music team.
Bridges teamed up with fellow Fort Worth, Texas, resident Keite Young on a cover of “Like a Ship,” a 1971 gospel-soul hybrid track by Pastor T.L.
