Instagram began rolling out auto-generated captions for all videos that users post to their feeds. Captions will be turned on by default, but creators can turn these captions off before sharing their videos if they don’t want auto-generated captions to be displayed.

Step 1: Begin the process of creating your video post as you normally would, until you reach the “New post” screen where you can add a caption to your video.
