Facebook frequently shares details on networks that are removed from its platform for coordinated inauthentic behavior, and this week, it added coordinated social harm to the mix.

The company defines coordinated inauthentic behavior as the use of Facebook and Instagram accounts, events, groups or pages to mislead people or Facebook about: the identity, purpose or origin of the entity they represent; the popularity of content or assets; the purpose of an audience or community; or the source or origin of content, or to evade enforcement under its community standards.
