Documentary The Outsider to Be the First Film to Premiere as a Paid Online Event on Facebook

The Outsider, a feature documentary about the construction and curation of the National 9/11 Memorial and Museum, will be the first ever film to premiere on Facebook as a paid online event.

The live, ticketed premiere screening will begin on Facebook Thursday, Aug. 19, at 8 p.m. ET, and the $3.99 ticket price includes a 12-hour window to watch the film through 8 a.m. ET Aug. 20.

The Outsider will be introduced by a special guest and followed by a panel discussion, and the film will begin nationwide in-person theatrical engagements Aug.
