Voting in all 32 categories for the 2021 American Music Awards took place on TikTok, but Sunday night’s event made a huge dent across other social platforms, as well.

MRC Live & Alternative, which produced the 2021 AMAs along with Jesse Collins Entertainment, said the event was the most social telecast of the past three years, including the past three Super Bowls, but not including presidential debates leading up to the 2020 election in the U.S.
