Zara Launches iPad App For Shopping

Spanish apparel retailer Zara has launched a new shopping app for the iPad. The free app, which is available in 19 languages, lets shoppers access the company’s latest online catalog and shop.

Users can search for clothes by category and then select product pages which include the item’s price, description, size, and links to share it via social networks. Users can add it to their cart and shop online or locate the item in a store near them using a mapping tool. The app also features branded content including lookbooks, and campaigns.

This is not the retailer’s first foray into apps. For a couple of years, the company has had an iPhone app and an Android app, both of which feature photos of products.
