Zannel Launches API, Expands External Feeds
Zannel, whose Instant Media Messaging (IMM) service lets users share pictures, video and text in real-time from a phone or PC, is launching an open API. The new tool enables developers to use the IMM platform to create rich-media mobile apps, widgets and mashups that can be shared via SMS, MMS and e-mail.
The start-up has also added export feeds to Twitter, Flickr, Facebook, MySpace and other sites so users can instantly publish their mobile video, picture and text updates to their social network profile pages.
