Did you know that YouTube allows you to change the name of your group chats after they’ve been created? Even if you weren’t the one who created a group chat, you can still change its name. Our guide will show you how this works.

Note: These screenshots were captured in the YouTube application on iOS.

Step 1: Tap “Inbox” at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2: Tap the group chat you wish to edit. Note: If you’ve recently looked at your YouTube notifications, you may need to tap “Messages” at the top of the Inbox screen to see your chats.

Step 3: Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of the screen.

Step 4: Tap “Edit chat name.”

Step 5: Make your desired changes to the name.

Step 6: Tap “OK” to save your changes.
