Wow! The $6+ Million Dollar Bird: Angry Bird for iPhone/iPad's Amazing Sales

A friend of mine in the office and I have a running joke about how we’re saving up 99 cents (plus tax) to buy Angry Birds for the iPhone ($4.99 for the iPad HD version). Angry Birds is, of course, an extremely popular game for the iPhone and iPad. It is currently #1 in the iPhone Paid Apps list and #4 in the iPad paid apps list. TechCrunch related an item reported by Variety about a possible Angry Birds movie.
