Social game developer Wooga is proudly announcing the launch of their latest game Happy Hospital. The company is doing quite well as 2 of their games have over 1M DAUs, making it one of only 3 developers asides from EA and Zynga to have games above the 1M DAU marker. More after the jump.

The achievement of garnering 1M DAUs for its games puts Wooga in the same boat as Zynga and EA. Wooga’s titles, Bubble Island and Monster World have roughly 5MMAUs each. Both games also have a roughly 20 percent stickiness factor, that is DAUs as a percentage of MAUs. 1 in 5 come back everyday to play.

According to Wooga’s slideshare, less than 3 percent of their users, 70 percent of which are females ages 20 to 60, come from advertising. According to their chart, virality has become less significant as we moved in 2010 and taken a back seat to engagement. Although discovery and invites are important for maintaining a consistent influx of new users, Wooga has focused on leveraging bookmarks and counters.

Wooga, which we covered on AllFacebook last week after they closed a second round of funding, was founded in January 2009 by their CEO Jens Begemann and has 55 employees from 14 countries. Their philosophy of new generation social games seems to be in line with where things are headed. In a nutshell, Wooga aims to create compelling emotional games with easy gameplay and in depth interactions. Others in the space like PlayFirst are striving for similar goals but seems like Wooga has the edge with a series of successful Facebook titles and a newly launched Happy Hospital:

“Players will run their own pet hospital and help cure cute pets of strange and funny diseases. With beautiful graphics and animations plus fun, addictive gameplay I am certain that Happy Hospital will be another hit game,” stated Jens Begemann on their site.
