Will Amazon Kill Barnes & Noble and Borders?

The debate about whether or not eBooks will kill bookstores has been going on since eReaders first came out. But with the growing adoption of eBooks, it might be more realistic to discuss today. MarketWatch has a piece that argues the death of bookstores based on the stock prices of the major U.S. bookstore retailers.

From MarketWatch: “Barnes & Noble stock, which was flying high above $45 five years ago, has plummeted below $15. Wall Street’s view of its prospects is so dim that not even the news of a bid battle has set it alight.
