Why Watch Live TV on Your iPad in Your Home?
This is one of those interesting but odd ideas.
Verizon to Put Live TV on the iPad (NewTeeVee)
We already have Netflix (production) and Hulu (beta) providing streaming on-demand video content for a monthly fee. So, why would anyone be interested in an iPad app that only shows video content that is currently live on actual TVs around your home? Convenience? Perhaps.
The more interesting Verizon streaming video project is the new VOD (video on demand) product mentioned in the same NewTeeVee article linked above.
