Last night we made our way over to one of seemingly-everywhere Sasha Petrasky’s places, Pegu, the new bar/small plates place improbably on West Broadway and Houston St. NYU dead zone, yes, but surprisingly well-appointed. Highlight is the bar, a Masa-esque blonde wood slab. As far as the eye can see and the gullet can drink. Carpented by John Houshmand.
