Wattpad Releases New App for Smartphones Running Bada

Today Wattpad  released their latest app. I’m sure you know what Wattpad is; it’s the largest online community for social entertainment. Bada, on the other hand, requires a little explanation.

Bada is a custom version of Linux that Samsung uses on some of its phones. Compared to iOS, Android, Blackberry, or Symbian, it is a tad obscure. so far as I know no one besides Samsung uses it, and Samsung isn’t very good at marketing its technology. Bada is running on 6 Samsung phones, with an unknown number in use.

Now that it has iOS, Android, Windows Phone 7, Bada, Blackberry, and Symbian apps, Wattpad clearly has the broadest user base of any of the major reading platforms.
